<p>It’s good Michael Jackson died before the ultimate crash of his career, to the point where few people recognized him or distinguished him as the King of Pop. It’s good he didn’t just die of “old age” is what I’m saying. His life was remarkable, full of abuse and hatred even after his initial success (I don’t think he raped anyone. Seriously, Michael Jackson had a mental problem in terms of age, not pedophilia) His death is momentous as of now and personally I think this is what will keep all of us remembering him. Hell, it worked for Elvis, and he was doing horrible back then.</p>

<p>Call me cynical , but I wonder how many people that are lining the streets in mourning are the same ones who threw him under the bus. I agree that MJ was a musical talent that no one else could come close to , but I also can’t help but wonder how much of this he did to himself. He didn’t eat well or take care of himself …the handwriting was on the wall , even during his trial a few yrs back. I don’t know how much of the rumors were true about his addiction to painkillers…I guess the autopsy will reveal those facts.
I do feel sorry for his children…this is the real tragedy.</p>
