<p>I've been accepted to both UM and Kalamazoo College, which is best? Sorry if this is in the wrong thread. :(</p>
<p>Admittedly, I'm coming to this discussion a tad late but Alexandre's comment caught my eye. Yes, Michigan is obviously a very fine school, but prestige-wise, it's equal to Dartmouth? C'mon, Alexandre, even you on balance would have to admit, that's more than generous to U-M. Dartmouth clearly has more prestige than U-M, esp at the undergraduate level.</p>
<p>Dartmouth is more prestigious in my opinion...Also since it is much smaller than Umich, it may be a better fit..BUT it depends on individual, some really enjoy huge state schools..</p>
<p>When talking about Michigan's $7.1 billion endowment, also understand that they have around 25,000 undergrads. Michigan has an unusually large undergraduate population.</p>
<p>And yes, TA's do teach some classes at Michigan. I have two friends there right now who complain about this.</p>
