EMU is not exactly a strong team. But Michigan managed to dominate the game without really using its first team (Forcier, Minor and Hemingway/Matthews).

At any rate, we should be 4-0 this time next week and we should be no worse than 5-2 entring the PSU game in 4 weeks. I have a good feeling about this team. I think 8-4 is likely this year...9-3 is certainly conceivable.

Go Blue! Someone on the defensive line besides Graham needs to step up–just one more guy. Like I said before, they need to find more work for Denard. The offense is inspiring.

You know EMU sucks when we had almost 400 rushing yards and not even 80 passing yards. Not to mention, our defense struggled in the first half, but we stopped them almost every single 3rd down in the second half. Everyone was so upset when Forcier was injured, then there was a big sigh of relief when he returned to the field, but I must say the guy who subbed in for Forcier (can’t seem to remember his name at the moment) did a very good job. Every game is exciting…Hope we continue to do well. GO BLUE!

This was my first Michigan football game! It was amazing, although eastern wasn’t that good…Denard Robinson was who you were talking about, I think he had 2 rushing touchdowns.

The big house is huge…I also saw the frat houses lol

The run defense is definitely in need of improvement…and Forcier’s health is paramount. If Michigan is to have a shot at an 8-4 season or better, it is going to have to do it with an improved Defensive front and a healthy Forcier.

Going into the season, the Michigan front 7 on Defense was an area of concern given its youth. Playing without Mouton did not help. I believe as the season progresses, you will see marked improvement on the defensive front, especially as guys like Will Campbell, Craig Roh and Mike Martin continue to mature. For now, I just hope Forcier stays healthy. Denard Robinson is a great athlete and can make excellent plays, but he is not a good QB yet. With him at the helm, we will not be able to move the ball as effectively.

Injuries are a bit of concern now … Molk is out and Minor apparently aggravated his ankle bad enough to sit out the rest of the game (for precautious measure I hope). Anyone know how long Moorsman will be out?

I agree GoBlue, our OL is banged up, and we haven’t even start playing tough teams. Next week should be ok with IU, but after that, we will be playing MSU, Iowa, PSU, Wisconsin and OSU in a 6 week span, so we had better be healthy.
