How did you feel coming out of the test?

composite: 30

how did you get the score? by school or by mail?

must be by mail, today is Saturday. Damnit, nothing here today. Ugh.

Got mine an hour ago. 34. My friend got a 35, though, and missed a 36 by one or two questions (he had 35, 36, 35, 35)!

hpandu, I came out of the test feeling pretty good. I thought i aced the writing but apparently not. If you tried your best, then you should feel fine no matter what you got. If you didnt word hard for it, then try harder and do a retake. Oh and btw, TheF, they should come by mail. Your school also gets a copy though. It depends on how fast ur school sent them in. Some schools actually wait a while for some reason (organizational probably). That is why many people get them very late april and early May. My school sent them in two days after administering it so thats why I am one of the first to have them.

are everyone's scores higher due to the fact that many people who wouldnt normally take the ACT helped the curve, and if is , will colleges take this into consideration? and also, should i retake with a 33?

^^ No, and I odn't think so.

Should I retake the test because of my low math? I think I could get a 36 on math if I took it again. I want to apply at MIT, Olin, and Michigan Tech....

onw point lower than dec baby!!!1

No, I heard that they applied like an "average" curve, even though the test was harder.

Any advice on how to tell some (Asian) parents that retaking a 34 is kinda anal-retentive when you already have a 2400 on the SAT? It would be my third time taking it, and I don't really feel like doing so.

Tell them umm 99.7% is an OK percentage. Or send your scores to Missouri-Rolla and just sleep through it next time and be a passive aggressive kid.

But your parents are nuts.

Hahah your parents are nuts, especially since you have a FREAKING PERFECT SAT! Truthfully, you probably don't even have to take the ACT.

Got a 30; 3 points higher than Dec. test. Everyone else at my school sucked; oh well, I did better than I planned.

I still haven't gotten anything back yet.
