ACT: 33 (one sitting with 11 on essay): 35 on English, 32 on math, 32 on science, 33 on reading
Class rank: 25/787 at a very competitive high school

Congratulations on all you have accomplished!

Being out-of-state with such a stellar background, you will really need to convince UofM they are your first choice. Your essays need to lay out a succinct reason this school is the one to propel your academic goals over any other. Otherwise, you may end up deferred in EA and having to demonstrate interest to keep your application at the top of the pile.
