<p>Can anyone tell me anything about the following public schools in MI-</p>

Eastern Michigan
Western Michigan
Oakland University</p>
<p>ok well Oakland I thought was a community college, but it has apparently become a university. Anyhow, it is the "easiest" to get in of all four you have listed, I'd say. Central and Western are very similar in terms of studies and acceptance rates, perhaps Central is a little better. Eastern is located in Ypsi, Michigan, and used to be a teaching school. EMU is great for a teacher's certificate but is pretty weak everywhere else, and has no dorms, so you'd have to commute or get an appartment. The good thing about Eastern, I suppose, is that it's close to Ann Arbor.</p>
