Anyone have any experience applying to U Michigan for dance? Submitted application Dec 1, wondering what will happen next.

My daughter submitted the prescreen to Michigan on October 26 and still no response. Unlike other programs they make an academic decision along with prescreen results.

We submitted on Dec 1, DD was invited for in person dance audition, email was received dec 17. She was participant of mpulse online summer dance intensive, so we bypassed submitting dance videos in her application

Invitation to audition received on 12/17. Looks like they have added audition dates.

My D will be auditioning in March. Does anyone have insight into how the auditions are structured? What to expect? Any information would be great to know.

Has anyone heard a decision from U-M yet?

They said during the zoom in early February that they will be sending them out shortly after the last audition which is this Friday. I am hoping we will hear early next week.

Yes and it sounded like from the zoom that they would release all decisions at or around the same time. Good luck to your child!

We heard our results this morning. She got in! She is so thrilled! What a journey that last few months have been. I hope you got some good news too!

Has anyone who submitted by October 15 gotten an audition invitation yet?

My daughter did not apply by 10/15, but I know someone else who did and received an audition date of 11/18.

Have pre screen results been released? Do they notify either way?

We had thought we’d made the October 15 deadline but there was a mix up with her common app, so we did not make that cut off. Have not heard anything one way or the other from the December 1 application round.
