michigan defeats notre dame

epic victory, and at first night game ever to boot!

wish i was there...big house looked awesome at night under the lights

I can’t remember the last time I watched college football, but happened to catch the last five minutes of the game. Wow! It was amazing.

Who cares? It was an exciting game but neither of these teams are top 25 and will both most likely make a bad Bowl game and get blown out by an SEC team.

^^^You cared enough to ■■■■■ the Michigan board and once again made a disparaging remark about the university. I guess Michigan and ND are still relevent.

“who cares?”

Well considering this is the University of Michigan section of College Confidential, I would say that a pretty decent amount of people that visit this section do. That’s just me and simple logic though…

I was actually complimenting Michigan and ND because of the high amount of school spirit their alumni have and how pumped the fans get for the game despite the fact that their football teams aren’t anywhere as good as they used to be.

What disparaging remark are you referring to?

Too bad what you wrote is nothing like what you claim.

Apparently you did. You “cared” enough to watch the game. Either that you are a phony - how would know that it was exciting game if you haven’t watched it? How could you comment on the “high amount of school spirit their alumni have and how pumped the fans get for the game” without watching the game?

This is so cool:

[Gigapixel Fancam: Michigan Football vs. Notre Dame](http://www.mgoblue.com/michigan-fancam/)

Who cares? Let us see?

115,000 people were present at the game (the largest crowed to ever watch any sporting event in United States history).

Denard Robinson is considered by many outside the Big 10 consiference to be the most exciting and electrifying player in the nation

Notre Dame may be off to a slow start, but they just came off a 10 win, top 25 season.

Michigan has had three bad seasons, but previous to those three seasons was consistantly wining 9-10 games per season, almost always finishing the season ranked in the top 20, often in the top 10.

Michigan has won more games than any other football program in the history of the sport and has the highest winning percentage in the history of the game.

Notre Dame is #2 in both games won and winning percentage.

Despite their recent struggles, both are still considered top 5 programs in the nation.

Michigan’s recruiting class is currently ranked #3 in the nation according to most experts

No fewer than 30 nationally ranked high school recruits attended the Michigan vs Notre Dame game.

"3. Notre Dame may be off to a slow start, but they just came off a 10 win, top 25 season. "

huh???

Haverford - how’s the Duke football season going so far? I wouldn’t know; as would anyone else because no one pays attention. No matter how Michigan and ND are doing, people are paying attention. Now come back with some snappy basketball comment.

My bad bearcats, Notre Dame finished 8-5 with wins over USC and Miami of Florida in their final two games.

The ten win season is the Notre Dame season that Lou Holtz babbles about every Saturday on ESPN but never materializes.

Why is Lou Holtz even allowed to be on TV? All he does is predict ND and South Carolina victories, even in the most outrageous of circumstances. ND could have no wins going into the game against Stanford and he would still say ND would find a way to win.

Broadcast like a champion.

^ Heh…“Great speech, coach. Here’s a napkin…you got some drool on your chin.”
