Michigan is B10 Champ!

You beat them both at home though. Ken Pom ranks Ohio State and Michigan State as #2 and #3 respectively while he rates Michigan #20. Trust me, on a neutral floor, Indiana and Michigan are a notch or two below OSU and MSU who could potentially win the whole thing this year.

At least Michigan didn’t get annihilated on it’s own home court against it’s biggest rival. Now that would be embarassing.

GB - In the B1G, OSU was 6-3 on the road, MSU was 5-4, UM was 5-4 and Indiana was 3-6. Not sure where the separation is between the 1st three. Games further back are ancient history. With Branden Dawson out, MSU will have a challenge (not that Izzo is capable of overcoming that problem).

As far as Pomeroy goes, anyone that doesn’t rank Kentucky and Sryacurse as the clear 1-2, is not correct in my book. And anyone who says Wisky is 7, 13 spots ahead of UM (and 9 spots ahead of Duke I may add) was clearly not watching b-ball this year; which he wasn’t, he was mearly pumping stats in a computer.

Goldenboy, are you saying that Crisler gives Michigan a better advantage than Cameron Indoor gives Duke? Sad, really. Duke has been great since before I can remember, and Michigan is just beginning it’s resurgence to greatness. That’s really a testament to Michigan’s amazing fan base.

Luckily for us, there is really no home court advantage in the tournament. By the way, have you heard of Mitch McGary? Yeah, me neither.

Please please please turn this around, Michigan. I hate OSU. You guys have gotten crap calls against you so here’s to a better 2nd half.

Good luck!!

romanygypsyeyes, I do not think we can recover. OSU is playing very well tonight and Michigan is not. We will likely get a 3 seed in the NCAA tournament, which is great, but tonight will most likely belong to the Buckeyes. Hopefully, Michigan can slap together a 3 (or better) game win streak at the NCAAs!

Have faith! Lol

Stranger things have happened… Just saying :p

Ok. Nevermind… :/

There is just way too much parity in college sports these days. Yesterday, Kansas and Syracuse lost to lesster teams. Today, Duke lost to a lesser team while UNC and Kentucky were lucky not to be upset by inferior teams.

Florida State, Baylor and Florida might not be as good as Duke, Kansas and Kentucky but they are excellent teams regardless. The NCAA tournament should be exciting to watch this year like always.

MSU and OSU look to be Final Four caliber.

This last week or so has made my bracket predictions all sorts of screwy.

Like I said romanigypsyeyes, there is much parity in college athletics these days. Top 5 teams like Kentucky, Syracuse, Kansas, North Carolina, Duke all lost to teams ranked out of the top 10. I think the winner of the OSU/MSU game (my money is on MSU) should be a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Here’s hoping. I’m omw home from work to watch the game. I don’t know how the teams look. I really, really hope the big 10 does well in the NCAA tournament.

Sparkeye7 -> The winner who lost and still won! :p

Did not get to watch the game (busy), but did track the half-time and final scores via ESPN Gamecast. Awaiting the highlights clips!!

Go Green!! :D

Welcome back to CC Sparkeye. :-)

Best of luck against Ohio :D.

It made me laugh :).

But seriously, good luck in the tournament, Michigan. I’m working on my brackets now… it’s scary

“Welcome back to CC Sparkeye. :-)”

Thanks rjk!.. I am actually not really back… My schedule is unfortunately filled all the way throughout this year and the next (Just gave a short talk on clinical ABG analysis, and pathophysiology of Respiratory & Metabolic Acidosis / Alkalosis to the NU students in fact). So, I can only stopby my beloved CC from time to time… =.="

In short, I am impressed with Michigan bball this year. G’Luck with the NCAA tournament!! :)
