I just got accepted into this program for session 1. Anyone else got accepted? And anyone who attended before would like to sharewhat is it like, such as how hard are the courses, dorm, dining, social life and professors?
is it competitive prestigious and worth it in your opinion what were your stats
I think it’s prestigious but idk if it’s competitive since it doesn’t post any stats. I’m an iss so Umich is one of my top choice, I think this summer program can help me to get in there and also learn things. I’m a sophomore, haven’t taken SAT, 4.0 GPA, some awards and extracurricular activities. And a very good recommendation letter. Are you applying this year?
possibly
As a raising senior in high school, got accepted into this program for session 1( Hex & 4 C’s), session 2(Forensic Physics). Want to know how hard are these courses, is it worth and general feedback in perspective for a student who is thinking of to pursue engineering at college
I was a commuter student a few years ago (which kind of sucked) when I was a rising sophomore. I was only at the dining hall for lunch but they had plenty of choices and overall, really decent college food. So if you’re vegetarian, vegan, etc, you’ll be fine.
Also, not everybody went to the Cedar Point and to the baseball games on the weekend. I’m sure there’s plenty to do in Ann Arbor. And again from what I saw of the dorms, they were pretty good sized with two to one room. There’s a game room, music rooms, computers, and laundry on the bottom floor. And it’s super close (and kind of connected) to the Union so there’s places like Wendy’s, Panda Express, Barnes and Noble if I remember correctly close by.
I don’t think it’s super prestigious, but practically everyone was taking AP classes and were pretty academically strong. It’s really fun and made my summer five million times better even if I was a commuter student.
Your classes were my top choices! But I applied too late so they are both full. We should get to know each other since we are in the same session!
I just got my acceptance letter for the program today! I’m in session I for Physics of Magic. I’ve read mixed opinions about the program.
@iupalette Hey, I’m also enrolled for session I Physics of Magic course. Would be great to discuss about different aspects of the course (especially regarding the preparation for the course.) with you.
