Michigan regular decision

Is there a deadline that Michigan regular decision come out finally?

Nope, Michigan admissions are rolling, meaning the earlier you submitted your application, the earlier you will be notified of your admission decision.

Also, I may add that the better your stats, the quicker the decision. But in normal circumstances, the decision takes about 2 months.

Jamiecago, Thanks. I completed the application by Jan 15th, I hope I can get the decision by the end of March. It’s the time to make my decision at that time. :(

TWO MONTHS!!?!?!?!?! Ugh. I didn’t get the last part of my app in until 2/25, so I won’t find out until end of April??!?!?!?! Ugh.

Lol, no one answered his question yet?

tony, the deadline that they guarantee everything to come out by is “mid April”.

@yosup: I assumed that tonyecc knew it, and wanted to know a more ‘accurate’ date for the decision.

@toyecc: I think you should stay patient, as I really think you’ll get a decision soon. I completed my application by Jan 14th (all materials received that day). Kind of ironic though, my stats are by no means outstanding and I got my result very early.

it is said that
If you are rejected, you cannot see your status online but only the snail mail.

^Yeah, same with waitlist. But it does say “A decision will be arriving in the mail”, so if you get this, you know you’ve been most likely rejected or WLed.

so if you’ve been rejected/waitlisted, WA will say “a decision will arriving in mail…”? what will it say if you’ve been accepted?

It will say view decision then notifying you of your acceptance.

Thats odd since according to last year many who applied ER did not hear back until mid April who found themselves to be either rejected or waitlisted and few accepted.

Also what would this say for me, I applied ER and was deferred November 9th. I could have been deferred as a substitute of a rejection ( since offical rejection letters are not firstly given to ER applications). Reguardless would you suspect I should hear a decision from the school sometime in March? I’ve heard from all my schools besides University of Michigan and Boston University, and George Washington University which I suspect I should hear from by mid April ( did not apply to the two private schools as ER).
