Might be the wrong forum for this, but does anyone know how competitive it is to get into Ross BBA as a preferred admit? Would acceptance there indicate an increased likelihood of getting into Wharton? Do they look for the same things?

i would loooooove to know this as well.

You’re probably looking for something like http://www.bus.umich.edu/Admissions/BBA/BBA_Class_Profiles_2011.pdf

If you were accepted preferred admit to Ross then you clearly have a strong application. That said, Wharton is more selective than Ross, so you are obviously not a guaranteed admit to Wharton.

makes sense. i wanted a strong inclination as a hopeful but what dfree124 said is obvious and true. just 3 more days.

^^ha yeah, agreed. Was just wondering if anyone had any personal experiences or knew someone in the past with a situation like this.

Unfortunately it isn’t. My friend and I applied ED to Penn (Wharton specifically). I got in (to Vagelos LSM Dual Degree, which covers Wharton); he got flat out rejected. He did get into the Ross Preferred Admit Program, though. So I would say no based on my personal experience.

bumping this up, I’m also curious
