<p>Can anyone tell me my chances at getting into the Michigan State Program?</p>

<p>GPA: 3.6 (trying to get a 3.7)
SAT:1900( gonna try to break 2000)
ACT:28 ( gonna try to get 30)</p>

<p>EC
Swim Team,
Water Polo,
Youth Leadership Program</p>

<p>Voluenteering</p>

<p>I voluenteer at the local hospital
I also voluenteer at the local elderly home.</p>

<p>I'm planning on taking these AP's next year (senior) Englsih, Calc AB, Chem, Bio</p>

<p>I also my dual enrolling at the local college taking human anatomy and phisology this year and next year i am taking ethics, and maybe organic chemistry.</p>

<p>If i could get any feedback that would be great thanks everyone</p>

<p>Well right now you don't meet the minimum requirements, your G.P.A. and ACT are low so I'd say very low chances.</p>

<p>do you live in michigan? if not, then yer chances are slim to none. I was gonna apply to the msu program until I saw that they accept like 12 ppl, 8-9 of which are in-state. So if yer in-state, yer competin with michigan for 8-9 spots, and if yer OOS, then yer competing with 49 other states for 3-4 spots.</p>

<p>If you want to be competitive, you need to get that SAT score to 2100+ or get that ACT to 31+</p>

<p>ok guys thanks for your input. I do live in michigan but i didn't think I could get it because my GPA is crap so i will just have to see if I can get thoughs SAT and ACT scores up. Thanks anyway I guess I'll just go the normal route</p>

<p>yeah..u really want 2100+ to be a contender...2200+ to be a strong one
it helps that ur in-state...i suggest u also look at Wayne State!</p>

<p>I applied with a 33 ACT and 3.9 UW GPA, I don't think I'll get an interview because 1 of my essays was really bad</p>
