Michigan State University Engineering vs. U of M Engineering

By U of M, I mean U of M Dearborn first off. (Obviously, Ann Arbor’s engineering is top notch, but between these two campuses I mentioned above.)

I’m interested in both schools but I really do not have any idea how well or focused they are individually towards engineering, specifically regarding computer or robotics. Their programs seem about the same and they are completely different schools which is why I’m in a conundrum.

Basically, how well do you think their engineering colleges are and is one better than the other regarding just academically, not socially or campus life etc.

Michigan State hands down. They actually have a great robotics department and use robotics through out. Their overall engineering program is great. Forgot about rank. Know many that got jobs with other schools students like Michigan Ann Arbor. https://ece.msu.edu/research-groups/robotics-control

MSU easily, better fit as a student plus they have a better student lifestyle over a UM satellite (athletics, extra-curricular, etc).
