Michigan State University Grading Scale

Can anyone inform me about Michigan State University grading scale?
I know many universities take students GPA and place it in their own grading scale, and was wondering what is MSU?
-Thanks

do you mean in regards to admission? If so, I do not think msu has its own grading scale for gpa purposes in admission. Or do you mean generally, as in class grading?

Yes I mean with admission. Like University of Michigan- Ann Arbor recalculate GPA's on their grading scale. I was wondering is there anything Michigan State University recalculate, such as taking out electives etc...

it might be on the website

They do not recalculate GPA.

Oh, really.... Do they look at unweighted and weighted GPA ( if they did it wouldn't be a problem, just interested). I would assume they do, since I think they ask for unweighted GPA when applying to their mailing list.

Brings another question, about a year ago I applied to Michigan State University mailing list. I got mail once, and they were done... is this comman?

Whoops, sorry I misread what you meant. I thought you meant to take out like AP and honors points, because that's what recalculating GPA normally means. They only take your grades from core classes- English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Foreign language.

Sorry :).

whatever they would mail you is on the website, so go green and don't have them waste paper mailing you things that you can look at electronically

To the post above, how am I'm suppose to know what ever they mail me would be online? Due to my high interest in the school I sign up for their mailing list, to get further information that I would most likely not get online. Clearly if your post on this thread is claiming that I'm wasting paper purposely with information that can be looked up electronically, then your comment isn't welcome here.

don't get worked up about it..i was jp..chill

Hard to tell when someone is serious on here or not. Just recently left a thread that got ridiculously out of hand.

Well actually I'm sure you get things mail to you thats not to be found online. Due to students having a high interest in the university ( like me for example).
