Okay, so I'm a Junior in High School and a Michigan resident. Very stressed about what school I should go to and what school I can get into. My GPA is not too hot - 3.05 cumalitive. I feel that the thing I have going for me is that I have had no B.S classes like foods (except for the requirments) and the fact I'm a MI resident.

NOTE: If it means anything, I went to a fairly good school for 9th and 10th (Henry Ford Academy in Greenfeild Village) and may go their for Senior year. I had no choice for my core classes and didn't offer AP for 9th and 10th graders.

If everything goes how I expect it to, what do you guys think my chances are of getting in the Michigan State University? From what I hear being a Michigan resident helps a lot and I have a fairly good shot...I just don't see it.

I don't really have a backup college, either. :
