<p>Well I am applying to the College of Engineering and want to major in Biomedical Engineering. Should I talk only about the College of Engineering in general or talk about BME? It seems like talking about BME would make a more meaningful essay, but the question specifically says the college.</p>

<p>My advice would be to talk about BME and why you’re interested in it. Also mention that if your interests change, UM is good for you because they are strong in everything else too.</p>

<p>What I did was spend a couple hours finding out everything I could about the school and specific program, and then I talked about how I wanted to be involved with it specifically, and what I looked forward to.</p>
