Michigan v. Texas!!!!

We're going to get rocked, but it should still be fun!!!!

One thing's for sure. If we want to have a chance of winning that game, Defensive Coordinator, Jim Herrmann, had better have a plan on how to contain Vincent Young. He has a little over 3 weeks to do so. The good news for Michigan is that Texas is primarily a rushing team. They do not have great WRs. So Michigan really needs to focus on Vince Young and Cedric Benson. If we can rattle Young, the game is ours for the taking. Young makes mistakes when he is rattled, as is 11 TD/11 INT ratio suggests.

Yeah they are a rushing team, but our secondary is top-notch (i.e. markus curry, marlin jackson, ernest shazor, etc), but our run-defense is fairly solid

Remember the elusive MSU quarterback... We had fun chasing him all around the field, especially during 3rd and long... May be we should use our secret weapon... last minute miracles... It worked for several games.

We have excellent cover CBs and Texas does not have dangerous WRs. We have to cover their WRs man-to-man and free up our Safeties, Shazor in particular, to assist our LBs in stopping Texas' running game. We must also keep our eyes on Vince Young and we have to tackle better.

By the way GoBlue81, thanks for the email. I will contact Jim.

"May be we should use our secret weapon... last minute miracles... It worked for several games."

lol yea but I'm pretty sure we've used our supply of miracles for the next 5 years.

Don't Say that!! Hopefully I will get in and have four years of U of M football. If we used all of the miracles for five years, Im SCREWED!!

********.. Cal should be in the rose bowl.. they got robbed!

I agree and1baller. The bcs sucks. Texas got in because there coach likes to run up the score and whore votes from the ap guys. Cal kicks ass, and they should have beaten USC this year. You know something is wrong when Pitt is playing Utah in the fiesta bowl. Those are two incredibly boring teams, and that game is not worth anything. They should at least put strength of schedule back in. Auburn got screwed also. Even this year, the SEC was rediculous. To beat traditional football powerhouses like georgia, florida (will be good next year, leak is the man), LSU, and tennessee twice, not to mention annihilating alabama one of the most bitter rivalry games in the country, says alot. USC I don't think was as good this year, and Oklahoma's defense wasn't anything impressive. This problem needs to be fixed.

If strength of schedule was still a factor in the BCS, there would be no question that Auburn would be left out. Their non-league schedule consisted of Louisiana-Monroe, The Citadel and Louisiana Tech. They beat Alabama by a touchdown, and never played Florida. Utah has the third ranked scoring offense in the nation, and a QB just as deserving of the Heisman as Leinart or White. How can you call them boring?

i wanted aaron rodgers to win the heisman

Thanks guys! Texans and vote fraud, such a shame. Twice in one month.

Anyways, we will definitely be rooting for the Wolverines for the Rose Bowl! Hope the Michigan Alumni enjoy Pasadena! U of M has an excellent reputation in LA and California. Please beat Texas!!!!!!!!!!
