This should be an easy win, regardless of who plays behind center and who carries the ball. I cannot imagine Michigan winning by fewer than 3 TDs. I think Henne needs to be rested. This is a good game to give Mallet some added experience. If Hart is healthy, I think he should play. He is one of the top 3 or 4 candidates for the Heisman, but he needs to pad his numbers. Winning the Heisman will do wonders for the program, particularly in the recruitment domain.

There are plenty of big games this weekend, so it should be interesting to see who stays standing. I have a feeling that the only undefeated teams left come Sunday will be Hawaii and Ohio State! I think BC will lose to VTech, I think Kansas will lose to TAMU and I think ASU will lose to Cal. Other games that will greatly impact the rankings landscape include:

5 Oregon vs #9 USC

9 Florida at #20 Georgia

6 West Virginia at #25 Rutgers

In all three cases, it would be nice to see the home team win! hehe!!!

"Matt Ryan is just like Colt Brennan: overrated because his schedule does nothing but show him off and doesn't test him. You saw the real Matt Ryan the first 3.5 quarters. Nothing changed in the offense the last 2 minutes - the same plays were made, just VT couldn't keep it together."

anyway...when asked about the trick play, lloyd carr replied along the line like "the trick play proves that we are one of the most creative and innovative teams in the nation" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..LOL LLOYD

Agreed Bearcats. Michigan can beat the Illinois' and PSUs of the world with power. But the OSUs and the USCs require more than mere power to defeat.

osu is not so good that michigan cant beat them...however it will b tough as carr will need to make adjustments on both sides of the ball, hopefully the wolverines will be riding momentum into the osu game. i mean if the wolverines come back from a 0-2 start to be 9-2 before the osu game that would be amazing for the team morale. as far as bc goes, i'm not sure about what to glean from that game. i mean vatech has shown nothing that proves they should be in the top 25. the acc is extremely weak and vatechs only real other national profile game against lsu was just a 60 minute beatdown. vatech choked, but u have to give credit to matt ryan, although i'm not sure how much.

Michigan has the power to do it, and I think Chad Henne's performance in a few games shows he has the potential. The three I think of are Ohio State last year, Northwestern and Illinois this year. (I missed the Purdue game over fall break to scout out Illinois in Iowa for my buddy Lloyd.)

Ohio State last year, Michigan really moved the ball down the field. A lot of passing. I don't know why we didn't do the same thing against USC. This year at the Northwestern game, everyone in the Michigan section was shocked when Chad came out after one drive. We really struggled that game until Chad came back in and the defense got him the ball. Illinois, same thing. We really struggled without Chad in the game, when he finally came back in (twice), things got done and we won the game.

The key to the rest of the season is going to be keeping everyone healthy and being aggressive against Wisconsin and Ohio State. I don't know anyone who honestly thought that Michigan could win 6 straight games after the first two games of the year. But now, I have the kind of faith that we can run it all the way to Ohio State.

Michigan can crack the top 15, most likely, with a win over Minnesota. Kentucky and VT lost, USC, Florida, USF, and Texas are all losing. Kansas can easily lose to Texas A&M, Cal to ASU, and Tennessee to South Carolina. Maybe they can even break the top 10? Who knows.

I agree. I think we will crack the top 15. Obviously, Michigan will win tonight's game. Like I said above, we should easily win by at least 3 TDs. I am curious to see how far Florida and USC will drop. I think USC will remain ranked ahead of us, but I think Florida (assuming they lose to Georgia) will drop top #20 or so. Unfortunately, Georgia may leap past us. However, USF, Kansas, Arizona State or Cal and South Carolina cannot afford losing. Hopefully, they will all lose.

Good question GoBlue. Nobody knows. As much as I like Mallett, Brown and Minor, we will need healthy and warmed up Hart and Henne to have a shot vs our last three opponants. I have a bad feeling that is not going to be the case.

On a more positive note, USC, Florida and USF have all lost their games, so it is quite likely we will be ranked among the top 15 come tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully, Kansas and South Carolina will also lose their games!

if michigan loses any other games they will 90% be out of a BCS game, unless Ohio State loses a couple before they play Michigan, which probably won't happen.
