UNC- Very difficult out of state (1 out of 11 who applied from my very, very competitive high school in Illinois were accepted, far more/higher percentage to UM)

Michigan

Texas

Michigan is harder OOS then UT-Austin? I thought a Michigan accepted more OOS then Texas? (even though Michigan has a lower acceptance rate)?

UNC-Chapel Hill is definitely hardest out of state.
In-state? Not so much, but still slightly competitive.
Then I would say Michigan and then Texas.

unc

ut

umich

unc and ut are required to have around %90 of their students be from in state, while michigan doesnt have that.

no actually unc needs only 82%instates..

(Last year 4 people from my school were accepted to UT Austen and 0 to Mich. Same number applied to each)
(The 4 is a huge number since my school is tiny).

unc is much harder than michigan for out of staters
