good co-curricular records (won prizes at national level)

thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated!!

im guessing Chinese is your native language, so perhaps pick a different SAT 2 to take
reach at Madison,only because they preference people in MN and WI, and then raise the bar horribly for all others.
Boston = reach
michigan= reach ( for the same reason as WI)
indiana= match
NYU= match, I know someone accepted there with much lower stats.

michigan - reach (out of state?)
wisconsin - high match (out of state?)
indiana - match
nyu - match
boston university? - match
boston college? - match

NYU - reach
Michigan - mid reach
Wisconsin - high match
Boston University - match
Indiana - low match / safety

NYU and Mich are the most selective here considering the volume of applications they receive. NYU has many applicants just like you and Michigan is very tough out of state.

btw… reach means it’s going to be a stretch for you to get in, but it’s not impossible. Match schools are where you most likely stand a chance at being accepted.

Match means you have generally a 50-60 percent chance of being accepted.
Reach means you will have like a 20-30 percent chance of being accepted, and its not impossible.
Safety means you have an 80-90 percent chance.

NYU - high match
Michigan - lil reach (sats are way above average)
Wisconsin - match - high match
Boston University - low match
Indiana - low match to safety’
