Micro/Macro Econ- Science or Humanities?

Anyone know if macro/micro econ is considered Science or Humanities? If schools ask for 1 Science and 1 Humanities subject tests, can I give Physics and Macroecon? Thanks guys!

I think they would be considered humanities. But there isn’t a Macroecon subject test. I think you’re confusing subject tests with AP exams (unless you are looking at a school that allows you to substitute ap exams for sat ii’s)

Econ = humanities

Here is a list of possible subject tests:
[SAT Subject Tests - About SAT](College Board Will No Longer Offer SAT Subject Tests or SAT with Essay – College Board Blog)

Economics is considered a social science, not a humanities, subject.

^Oops, I agree; I responded too quickly to the science vs. humanities question w/o thinking :rolleyes:

But in this case, they are probably looking for more of a lab science to fill the requirement

Thanks all. yeah…i meant AP tests not subject. So looks like my Chemistry AP and macro econ AP should work, correct? Chem = Science and Macroecon = Humanities (soc science)
