Microsoft One Note

<p>Is anyone familiar with this software/used it extensivly, is it a good programs do you like it, does it actually help you at all?</p>

<p>It's only effective if you use it with a Tablet PC.</p>

<p>You can use it on a regular laptop too, but it's really the same thing as using word to take notes, in my opinion.</p>

<p>tablets r dead BTW, they got origami now, but until prices come out i have major doubts it'll do better than tablet</p>

<p>There's no question that MS OneNote works well with a Tablet PC. However, it will work with a regular desktop and laptop. </p>

<p>Basically, OneNote is designed to allow a user to create a series of class or project "notebooks" (just like your bound paper ones). Unlike a paper notebook, your notes, schedules, contact info, etc. can be searched. It is more effective than just using MS Word...</p>
