goin nutz cuz i may get two B's in ap calc and ap physics. this is a first for me. i have 1480 sat and 4.0 unweighted with tons of student govt & ec's. i'm from the northeast. any comments?

Since the two courses are full-year ones, you have the opportunity to pull those grades up and that should be your focus. Plus, given your grade history, it'll be noted that this is an aberration and could be possibly be attributed to the extent to which you're devoting time to your ec's. (?)

thanks for your response. i was actually sick a lot. maybe my guidance counsellor should note that.

Having your GC cite that might be a good idea. Colleges need to know of any extenuating circumstances that have adversely affected grades, so they can eliminate the usual suspects, e.g., senioritis. Good luck!

it's nothing to worry about. I had the same exact situation last year...I was ranked 1st in my class when I applied, but my rank dropped to 2 when I got my first B in AP Calc. I don't think it is anything to worry about...i too was very ill and my gc definitely wrote about it in her report and I still got in RD. Take it easy.
