Anyone have any idea how much mid-term reports count for transfer admissions?

From what I understand and know, mid-term reports does play an important role. It is a way for them to know that you are keeping up your grades and that you will finish the semester strong if you were to be admitted at whatever institute.

It really depends if the class is a prereq and what kind of grade you are receiving on the mid report.

Okay, well, I am an Economics major. I got an A in Micro last semester and am getting an A (mid-term report) for Macro this semester. I also have As in all my other classes. Except Biology.

I listed Biology as a potential minor/ academic interest, but I didn't do too well on the midterm (there was no curve, otherwise I would be doing fine if there were a curve to adjust for the fact that 40% of the class failed, I'm sure you know of those darned college exams). Numerically speaking, I deserve a C+ even though I'm probably hovering around the top 30 or 25% of the class, and with a bell curve that would be a B+ish. What say you?

have you already submitted your midterm report?

I have read that although the deadline is by March 15th, colleges will accept them until April.

Do all schools want a midterm report? None of the schools I'm applying to say that they want one but I hear a lot of people talking about them. And where do you get the report form from?

No, not all schools require a midterm report for transfer admissions. I know Cornell and the University of Pennsylvania do. They have downloadable reports on their respective websites.
