I've applied to Penn, Brown, and Emory for the upcoming semester in 2010 and it appears that none of them require a Mid-Term report, however I was wondering if it is recommended to send them anyways?
I assume it somewhat depends on the grades I have so far in the classes which I would be happy to provide over a PM.
Thanks for any help!

emory does require mid-term grades. have you looked at your OPUS online?

They haven’t provided me with an OPUS account yet. The majority of my materials should be in.

i think penn wants that too, but its not shown in the status checking thing. i haven’t sent my midterm report either…

btw, is brown the status checking thing up already? i’ve never seen one yet, they never email anything…

Right, I was looking for Penn and on the required materials list there is no Mid-Term report, so how are we supposed to know if it is required or not?
Brown has not given the applicant portal login stuff yet.

I just sent an email to Penn, I’ll also send one to Emory asking.

Are you sure Emory requires them. I keep looking at their website and all I can see is the need for a catalog and the eventual results of the classes you are taking.

once you submit your app for emory their OPUS shows that they want one and I have their admissions office to confirm and they also said that they do require one. you can just use the common app mid term report form.

However, I applied for summer admissions, so it might be different for fall

hmmm I applied for fall. I guess it makes sense for summer.

Though I am still confused about this [Transfer Students | Emory College of Arts and Sciences Admission](Transfer Applicants | Emory University | Atlanta GA)
The site doesn’t have any mention of mid term reports or any of the other forms offered on commonapp.

Desert_Fox, have you received a reply from Penn?
I just wanted to be merciful and show you this:
[Penn Admissions: Admissions Tips](http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/tips.php) See the fifth bullet point.

Thank you for that.
Awesome, I don’t even know how to go about getting my professors to sign it when they don’t grade anything.

Hey thanks alu_teothc but I didn’t apply to Penn. I just applied to Emory and I can’t find anything that requires a mid term report for fall transfers. To be honest it makes no sense for a college that has a deadline in June to want mid term reports. But I do want to know if anyone else has information on fall emory transfers and mid term reports.
