Hey everyone, I have a question about mid term grades. Did anyone who successfully transferred (preferrably to Duke, Dartmouth, or UVa) send their second semester mid term grades? I know they are not required at these schools, but when I spoke to an admissions officer on the phone they seemed to think that I could send them if I thought they were going to help. Anyone done this?

i was told the same, but from what i gather, they really aren't important, b/c if they were, they would be required

Does your current college publish mid term grades? If my daughter wanted to submit her mid semester grades, she would have to get something from each professor as the school doesn't have mid term grades.

same....for Penn, i have to go up to every one of my professors, and tell them i want to transfer.....i cant believe penn is making me do this

Yeah, that sure will be fun..to all my professors. (thanks Penn)

what school at penn are you applying to bball?

yep, cornell too. stanford just wants signatures (?) which makes no sense because the courses that i am currently enrolled in are on my transcript. as for the others, i asked admits from last year and they said that they haven't sent them.
