Im from an international school and needed to ask if my counselor can upload my transcript as one transcript instead of a separate transcript for all years or having separate mid year and final transcripts?</p>
<p>I think the answer is no because the schools look at your transcripts in stages. The first one has up the end of 11th grade. It makes up your GPA. It goes in with your application along with your counselor’s rec. </p>
<p>The ones from Senior year show what type of course load you continued with and what your grades are in the midyear report to see how they compare to your all ready calculated GPA. They have weight as the schools decide to accept you or not and they are sent after the deadline of the application has passed.</p>
<p>The final report only goes to the school you are enrolling in.</p>
<p>I think I didn’t get my message across. What I meant is that is it ok if my 11th year mid term and final AND my 12th grade mid term and final can be included in the same transcript. Because that is how my school produces it.
It will have all the detail necessary about every test I took but it will be on one transcript.</p>
<p>I guess I don’t follow what you are asking. When you apply to colleges, you havn’t taken your 12 grade midterms and finals yet. Colleges look at your 11th grade grades, SAT scores etc. So I don’t see how you could wait to send the 11th grade and 12 grade together. </p>
<p>You apply to colleges in fall of senior year. You only have 11th grade grades.</p>

<p>Yes, I think you can then send your entire HS transcript when you apply, but you should contact a couple of the schools you are applying to confirm this. If they are common app schools then in theory your counselor can upload them and the schools will just download all the reports at the same time.</p>
<p>Oh yes my counselor will be sending them. Im not even allowed to look at them -_-

<p>I don’t know what additional things an international student must provide. You may have to hunt around on the forums here on cc. </p>
<p>Each school does things a little different, even on the common app so very carefully look at each one’s separate section to know dates, whether they want their supplement before or after the app, how you pay for each one etc. </p>
<p>Non common app schools have their own process as well so set up a calendar when everything must be in by so you don’t miss any deadlines.</p>

<p>Does anyone know what information goes into the midyear and final reports? I am applying as an international student and don’t understand what my counselor has to include as I don’t have a GPA or anything american equivalent, just grades I have got for my exams.</p>
<p>@lexiprew : Mid-year report contains your course load for the first semester/ first and second trimesters depending on your school’s curriculum. Final report contains the rest, i.e, course load for second semester/third trimester.</p>
<p>If your school is not US-based, then you need to attach an INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SUPPLEMENT to your report.</p>
