When do we need to send the mid-year grade reports?
Is there anything else we need to send along with these reports?
Thanks in advance.

If you haven't been accepted yet and your grades are good, send it ASAP.

I'd think if you already have an application in, that's just part of the process. Your guidance counselor should be handling this stuff, but it probably wouldn't hurt just to check in with them and make sure they've done it.

we have to bring our transcripts and the forms to our counselors. i think you should send it out soon.

My D submitted stamped, pre-addressed envelopes to her guidance counselor with a note to please send in mid-year reports asap.

I gave mine to my counselor yesterday, very happy with it too because i somehow managed to pull A's in all my classes (thank goodness for the curve!)

yeah i have been wondering about mid-year reports. i asked my counselor and i was like do u need anything else from me and he said he'll handle it all and send it out... this worries me knowing the track record of our counselors!! is this normal? they just handle it w/o the student having to do anything...

At our school, we require students to provide us (counselors) with the mid year report form and a stamp addressed envelope. If the college only requires a transcript and has no formal mid year report, we still ask for the envelope. We log every transcript/mid year report sent to keep track.

Give it a few weeks and check with the colleges to see if they've received your mid year info. If they haven't, bring your counselor an adressed envelope!

hey guys... ive been admitted through early action. do i need to send in midyear or final year report?

yes- both.

When my son was accepted early action two years ago, I don't remember sending anything like that in. In our case, I'm assuming the counselor's office did. I'm operating on that basis this year as well. We already sent in the $500 check--my guess is that, if the counselor doesn't send in what's needed...they'll call.

From this point on, all ND ever asks for is money... Trust me :)

There's a mid year report in Notre Dame's application packet.
