do they want them?

i dont think so, my school sends out mid year reports in mid february and that’s also the same time UMD sends out their admission responses

I doubt it; you will have already received a decision by the time your mid-year report comes out. It would sort of be counterproductive to send them since Maryland doesn’t have a waiting list. The only reason I could foresee Maryland asking for them is to make sure that the accepted students are continuing to do well in their classes.

my highschool send our 1st semester grades to all of our colleges and i know that our final grades are sent as well so colleges can be sure we didnt fail or they may drop your acceptance

Every school in the nation sends the final grades to whatever college you matriculate to. Do yourself a favor at the end of the school yr, get a sealed transcript and take it with you for orientation. You don’t want to get there and find out there was a clerical error which means you can’t sign up for classes. Luckily we did that for DS, because UMD had yet to receive his from the school. I think orientation was @ mid June and he only just graduated about 1 week earlier, so it was in the mail.
