Question 1: Does Stanford require that you send a mid-year report if you get in Early Action?

Question 2: What constitutes as an acceptable drop in grades? I.e. all A's before... but now, 2 B+'s = bad? Or is that OK? These classes are AP English and AP French - and I want to go into the Biological Sciences.

I hope it's not a problem, because I have two B's as well. I think C's and D's are what's noticeable. Although, I did get scared by all of their disclaimers about how they based our acceptance on our academic program and they can always take it back.

We have to send second semester grades too, don't we? After school is out?

That's the thing that worries me. It's not that I'm not trying in my classes. I've just been overwhelmed w/ college apps... and now, I don't want to get rejected...

I know C's are bad. I won't get C's... I wanted to know about B's. Thanks for the replies. Anyone else have ideas?

They wouldn't be that quick to pull the trigger. Rescinding admission is huge in that it only occurs to 1-3 people each year. The reason has to be extreme.

My friend from Penn said that they would only rescind if it was more than a 2.0 GPA drop. (Which is really extreme if you're used to getting A's.) I guess my B's are all right then!
