Mid-Year Report Advice?

Yeah, there's probably been more than enough threads about this topic already, but most of those topics have differing circumstances.

This is my likely mid-year report:

AP Spanish Language: A

AP Physics: Newtonian Mechanics (I think it's Physics B on the AP exams? Not sure, though.): C, or maybe even lower :/

AP Literature and Composition (I don't know if this is going to be sent since it takes 3 quarters.): B+

AP Comparative Government: A

I've also gotten increasingly sick this year (nothing big, though, just a lot of colds; yeah, I don't know why either :/), so I have a lot of excused absences and tardies.

Hopefully my mid-year report doesn't convey that I'm slacking off, because I'm not; physics is the class I've worked the hardest in ever, and I have no idea why I'm getting sicker and sicker more and more of the time. My transcript has pretty much been golden until this time (straight As with a few A-s sprinkled in; rank no. 3 out of 600).

Any advice as to what I should do? Should my counselor or I send an explanation of my poor physics grade and my absences/tardies?

Thank you!
