Mid-Year Report and the ED accepted

I am posting this at the request of a friend. Is the MYR required to be sent for those accepted in the ED process ? Is the deadline same for them as the RD students - Feb 14 ?

Thanks.

Yes.

And it's recommended to send it it by February 15th

february 14th is valentines day, silly! of course they couldn't ask us to send it then!! :p

Yeah. it's due by February 15, but I think they're more lenient with ED acceptees, though I'm not going to try it!

I was accepted ED and tried to give my counselor the MYR form, but he said my school just sends seniors' transcripts directly to the colleges. He said they've been doing it for 10 years, and he didn't need to fill the form. Is this ok?

Yes. They say fill on the form to either fill in the form, or just attach the offical transcript. Either should be fine.
tiger87 - I always assumed you were an alum.

how do you ppl know that the deadline is 15th?

It's on the form.

oh. they say i don't have to send it in. so.....

Why not ?

different education system. the email i got from them:

...you must still send transcripts from your secondary school and teacher recommendations as well as your college scores. Your high school would not need to file a mid-year report since they will be sending a completed transcript.
