Mid Year Report Grades (Calculus BC)

How are my first semester senior grades for colleges like Haverford, Williams, and Swarthmore?

AP Environmental Science: 98
AP US Government: 97
AP English Language: 93
AP Calculus BC: 89
AP Spanish Language: 98

I’m slightly worried about the Calculus grade. Its considerably lower than my other grades and its mainly because the only test grades go in, no homework or other points. Will this be a weakness in the admissions process? I’m applying as political science/environmental science, if that makes a difference. Thanks.

If you don’t get in it certainly won’t be because of an 89 in AP Calc.

You’re probably gonna laugh at this. There was a kid in my school who flunked AP Calc --got a 40 on the midterm, 70s-80s in the class. He got waitlisted to Brown and made it in off the waitlist; he also made Cornell.

Don’t worry at all.
