I have a Weighted GPA of 3.58, with Freshman year as a 3.7, Sophomore as a 3.3, and Junior year as a 3.7, including a middle school and online government course. So far from what I know, I think I have all As on my midyear and one B+, where I take four IB Courses, 1 AP, and 3 electives. My 1st semester GPA is around a 4.5, more or less.
Will Virginia Tech/James Madison or any other college really consider my improvement? Especially increasing my overall workload (since i didn't take IB/honors until Junior Year, where I only took 2.)? Yeah, I'm just really nervous and I depending on these grades to pull me through to at least Virginia Tech University studies. Thank you for the feedback.

Yes, absolutely your upward trend is considered. Make sure that your counselor sends the mid-years promptly and maybe notes the improvement as well. It can’t hurt :). Good luck!
