<p>I am still a bit confused. MIT says they will compare my self reported mid-year report with the official final report from my school..
So am I supposed to send an official transcript to MIT after my 1st semester ends or not? Are they saying they will just check for accuracy later if I am accepted?</p>

<p>Yes, you are supposed to send just an official transcript after 1st semester ends. They’re just gonna compare what you say on the midyear to the transcript to make sure you’re right.</p>
<p>I don’t believe that that is correct. According to the Midyear Report, final end-of-year transcripts will be needed to check with the submitted grades of ACCEPTED students.</p>
