Mid year report

Just wondering if there are no interviews schedule, that means it is going to be a rejection. Right? So, mid year school report will not need to be send.

shouldn't you be notified that you were rejected before you can just assume that you were? I don't think they would just not tell you that you were rejected, that would be terrible.

agreed. i suggest u wait until they give u the final verdict.

Hey do you guys think midyear reports matter a lot for these med programs? I mean once you get an interview, isn't it mostly just the interview that matters?

Well I got called for two interviews already but the problem is I'm pulling a B-/C+ in AP Chemistry. Please tell me if you think this would completely ruin my chances!

i wish I got an interview...yeah sorry no helpful advice.

hah yeah ive been thinking about the same thing. id like to think the answers no. getting called for an interview is pretty much the last step in these programs and i doubt tht if ur accepted they would turn u down because of poor grades in what im sure is a really challenging senior yr curriculum. ivybound, which programs have called u to interview?

I got called for interviews for the Penn State program and the Union/Albany program. I'm still waiting to hear from the Boston University program.
What about you crnary?
And I'm thinking mid year shouldn't matter much, but I'm afraid they might be like hmm 75 in AP Chemistry...and he wants to be a doctor? haha but I hope not

hah yeah i know what u mean. my guess is theyll still look at it but be extremely lenient with what u present. they know youve been doing several apps just to get to this point, not to mention imminent interviews.
my calc ap grades arent too much better.
my interview for union/AMC is THIS MONDAY.
any info on questions they might ask, interview faux pas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! thanks

good luck on your interview
just remember I guess why you want to be a doctor, why you want that program specifically, why you prefer Union College, your plans for the future, and what you have done in school so far: your extracurriculars, curriculum, ap classes, what you like and don't like about hs, what you look forward to in college, how you know for sure you want to be a doctor, favorite book, most significant experience

I guess stuff like that is likely to come up although I haven't had any med school interviews yet. I had a princeton one a while ago and he asked some of the questions I listed

My Albany interview is still about 2 weeks away.
