Mid Year Report

Hey guys!
So I'll have to send my mid year report out soon to colleges..
The thing is, I've never slipped up before but this year I made the mistake of taking 5APs which was way more than I could handle. My mid year report basically sucks.
I was wondering if colleges really look at them or consider them heavily during the regular round when they're deciding on admission?
I talked to my counselor and he had told me that some times colleges skim over it or don't even have the time to look over them and thus disregard them.. And some people in my position have gotten into their top choice (Ivys) anyways but I never know who is going to read and look at my application so I'm a little worried.

Thoughts?

I think it depends why they need your mid year report. In my d’s case, she was deferred from ED, so her mid year report is very important.
