I’ve seen conflicting answers on this. Is a mid-year report required or only if they ask for it? I applied on December 1 and haven’t heard back.
I think it’s safe to say they want to see everyone’s mid-year report if they weren’t admitted with a merit scholarship in January. It seems like they don’t ask for it from some people because they have already received it for them. Many schools automatically send the mid-year to all schools they sent official transcripts to, so a lot of applicants probably don’t realize USC has received it. I’m not sure what you mean by, “I applied on December 1 and haven’t heard back.” Do you mean you haven’t been asked for your mid-year yet, or you haven’t heard anything at all from them? Do you have access to your application portal?
My counselor told me she has sent everything. Thank you!
