mid-year report?

does michigan require a mid-year report? I sent my app in early december and they verified/recieved everything by jan 11, so i still haven't gotten a decision yet. however i think my semester grades are going to be pretty horrible, so i was wondering if michigan is going to see them.

no they do not see ur senior grades at all...however if u wud like to submit them if u think it will help...then u can get ur counselor to send them in with a letter and they will CONSIDER them...they will not be used to recalculate the gpa. just a supplement to see an upward trend maybe...if urs are not good, ur in luck they do not see it, nor shud u send it...good luck

so they dont want us to send a final transcript?? wait, if they dont see your senior grades at all, then how do they know you have successfully completed your senior classes?

Michigan normally does not request your mid-year report. They will make the decision based on your sophomore-junior GPA. However, your admission is contingent on your successful completion of your senior year. You will have to send in a copy of your final transcript.

In some cases, you may get deferred and on the letter Michigan may specifically request that you send in your mid-year report. That will be important for your admission.
