<p>Because of the system at my school, the grades are suppose to be out next week, which is also the week I am suppose to be receiving notification from Swarthmore ED II. However, last Tuesday or Wednesday, Swarthmore contacted the counselor for my mid-year report (so we sent in an informal sheet with my grades). Is this a good sign that Swarthmore might admit me or does that mean they haven't even started to look at my application yet? Should I be worried?</p>
<p>Most schools require a mid-year report. I don't know of any that actually call the counselor for it, but I wouldn't put it past Swarthmore - which I assume is a small, liberal arts college with a much more personal touch in admissions.</p>
<p>It might be a good thing, but it definitely isn't a bad thing, so don't worry.</p>
