so i recieved a letter from usc stating i didnt get the presidential scholarship, and if i havent i could fill out the midyear report on the website. however, I dont know how to proceed from this point, what should i do, how? is it required to submit midyear report?

Take some time to browse the USC threads. This is what everyone is talking about here.

You didn't get one of the big scholarships, but now you (and everyone else in your position) need to submit your midyear grade report online or by mail and wait for your decision answer. Acceptances will come out anytime between now and about April 1. Rejections are the last to come out around April 1.

Yes, you must submit a midyear report. If you don't, not only will they think you don't care enough about USC, but they'll think you are hiding bad grades. And I saw your post on the UCLA thread, so I can definitely understand why you wouldn't want to send those grades in.

On your status check, follow the link to report your grades. Have your school send a hard copy as well.

I'm a bit confused. I entered my grades on the website, but it says that I also have to send them my report card. So do I send them a copy of that? Or do I have my school send them a transcript with the updated grades for my fall classes?

so its required : ( how sad. guess i wont get into usc as well. how big of a factor is midyear report for usc
