<p>It depends. I've heard of students that were turned down because of a C or D in a core course, and I think if you have a low gpa and your midyear grades are above that, it might help you. However, it depends.</p>
<p>Mid-year reports won't be seen for ED kids, but has a bad grade ever gotten kids rescinded?</p>
<p>Btw for the NYC Regents, is there a chance of getting rescinded if you fail one or two?</p>
<p>my mid year report had like 2 C's....a dropped class (AP nonetheless) and a huge decline in GPA, and I wasn't rescinded. Just don't fail.</p>

<p>Does NYU ask for mid year grades? I am almost positive they they do not ask for them. I think they only requested end of year grades.</p>
<p>Probably for ED applicants? They do not go to the regular pool if rejected.</p>
