How important is the mid-year report for college admissions? Does it matter if you do terribly? Does it help if you do extremely well?

Please, anyone??

i don't know, i guess they just want to know if we take Princeton seriously. I'm trying to get good grades before I send in the mid-year report.

when are you expected to send them the mid-year report?

By Feb 1st. My school's already sent the report. Do you think it might be a good idea for one of my teachers to send an email to the dean of admissions telling them that this result does not in fact portray my full potential, or something to that effect?

if you have stumbled upon circumstances which have effected your grades then you should definitely ask your teacher to aknowledge the dean of admission. if your sat scores are high then they'll probobly not mind your MR.
but in the end it wouldnt hurt i guess.

Thanks for the help. :)

my midyear report basically consists of the statement: "no longer enrolled in high school" lol since i finished in three yrs and am taking a year off prior to college

so it better not hurt me
