Does Duke want to receive a mid year report? I do not see it listed on the web site. It seems some school want one and others don't.

Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks!

Duke does want it.

[Duke University Admissions: How to Apply](http://www.admissions.duke.edu/jump/applying/apply-commonapp.html)

Thanks. I see it now. We did not read down far enough. I wonder if all schools that take the common app want the mid year report? Some schools specify that they want it while others do not…

I think it’s safe to simply send the mid-year report to schools that follow the common application. Better to send it then not, IMO.

Do we just give our counselors like envelopes, stamps, and the midyear report form when the semester is done for them to send them in? Similar to the transcript and secondary school report form earlier in the year?

You probably don’t even need to provide the envelope and stamps

^i wa required to supply the envelope and stamps when I applied, so yeah, the process the similar to that of submitting secondary school report and transcript.

really? damn…

agentunderfire38- each school’s policy is different. In the past, our school has provided the envelopes and stamps and even sent out our transcripts but since our budgets are low this year, students have to provide their own envelopes/stamps. Also, my counselor gave me my school reports and I had to stuff them in an envelope, stamp it, and drop it off at the post office.

Ask your guidance counselor what he/she prefers first. The process should be identical to your secondary school report.

I would definitely ask your gc. Although I had to supply a stamped envelope for the transcripts, I am not required to do so for mid year reports. Since many students apply to the same schools, the school puts all of them in one envelope.
