Mid-Year Report

Sorry, the answer to this question might seem really obvious but... I'm really confused though. Do colleges contact my high school for the mid-year reports? Or... do I need to take care of it myself? Also, what about the second semester of my senior year? And if I'm suppose to send them myself, do most colleges accept it by fax?

I’m not sure if any of the schools you listed require the common app, but if that IS what you used to apply than just log into the common app and print out the midyear report under school forms> guidance counselor forms (I think it’s pages 4-5). Make sure you print it when you’re logged in because that’s how your common app id shows up at the bottom of the page.

I mailed it in, but I’m sure you could fax it. Some schools are really specific with what they want you to do so check their website. But to answer your basic question, yes, YOU have to send it in, I’ve never heard of a college contacting high schools for the midyear report, although I could be wrong.

And there is also a final school report (at least on the common app). As far as I know it only has to be done if you are accepted to the school (since you get your final grades after graduation and most schools require you to tell them if you are going by may 1st). If I’m wrong, please someone correct me!
