Mid-year reports

When are the counselors supposed to send them in for my school? We are on the semester system, but have quarter grades as well (but they dont count and are only used for progress purposes). So what I am asking is do our grades count this year for scea? and if so when should the counselor send in the report?

I'm wondering about that too. My school is on the semester system, so are the grades sent at the end of the term or what?

If you are on a semester system, your mid-year report will not be considered for scea because it will not be ready in time; however, it still has to be sent as soon as the grades become available.

so wait - even for SCEA theres only the mid year? as in...they never see first quarter grades??

please say thats true. or they dont count for anything.

oh, please, please, pleeease.

I believe Stanford doesn't ask for quarter grades. A couple of my friends were worried because they were applying early to ivy leagues (Brown, Yale, Columbia) which did ask for the quarter grades. I read through the Stanford instructions and it doesn't ask for them.

i called today...only the midyear, baby! stanford does not typically ask for quarter grades!!!!

anyone else feel like celebrating?

I didn't know that :(. And my counselor already sent in my quarter grades... Would that have a negative effect, like I didn't read instructions of something? They're decent grades, heighter weighted-wise considering a much heavier workload than junior year.
