Mid year reports

Hey i didn’t hand mine in till yesterday and quite frankly it doesn’t matter because i talked to the admissions person and she said that there not processed and if thy needed information they would just contact our Guidance Department and that sucks because my rank went up a lot!!!

Wait... so midyear reports do nothing? That's great, my midyear grades sucked.

Oh crap...so I did all that work last semester for nothing?

Heh, jk. But I'm slightly disappointed because my grades fared rather well and I managed to pull up my rank quite a few places last semester alone. =/

yay! I got a D in Economics...

^I did so bad in economics too. It's so boring.

crap. i brought up my rank 10 people. :(

Is there any possibility that the admissions representative meant that the applications (or maybe just yours) weren't processed yet and it was okay if you didn't have your midyear report in yet, because if they needed extra info they would contact your school?

Haha, what a long obtuse sentence. I hope that made sense.

^^^that would make more sense

brumaire, I agree too.

Maybe they don't Need the mid-term reports only because they are still pulling the files together for review. They still need the updates/mid-term reports for the file.

Mid-year reports are definitely considered, though may not as much as the total transcript. What was likely meant was that either no mid-year reports were processed yet, because they are the last things to receive, and/or that they take into account mid-year reports far more strongly in "border" students, which is really most people.

meh meh meh i dont want this trimesters grades to matter!!!!!!!!! mehhh!!!! <--- thats me flipping out.

no but seriously someone told me that midTERM grades mattered and i almost had a heartattack bc i have this bad habit of having terrible grades until the end of the term when i bring them all up.

question though, we're on a trimester sched. my first trimester grades were sent, but my 2nd trimester grades dont come out til the end of this week.

will colleges want/see 2nd trimester grades? they all already have 1st.

woah someone should def answer my question pleeeasse

You might want to call the college(s) and see if they want/need your 2nd trimester grades.

As for midyear reports...it would be wonderful if they didn't really count. Sigh.
