mid-year school report?

<p>i'm not sure, but i think my principal believes that the mid-year school report are supposed to be sent in mid-february. is it too late if he sends it this week? (feb 6-10)?</p>

<p>What we want are your mid-year grades - if what was sent is essentially the same thing, then that's fine.</p>

<p>Hi, well i also told my counselor to fax the midyear report, but from what i hear my school's fax machine doesnt work all the time (especially with long distance faxes). How long do you think it will take to process and confirm the receipt of the form? Thanks! :)</p>

<p>does MIT look at mid-year reports after or before they admit a student? do admissions officers need the mid-year report before evaluating an applicant?</p>

<p>MIT said its fine and don't worry too much; just send it in whenever it is available. There were schools in my area where finals were taken just last week. As for my HS, they're sending transcripts this week or next week.</p>

<p>Ya my HS actually JUST got our last semester grades this week, i wouldnt sweat it, but jsut get them sent asap.</p>

The mid-year report is evaluated at the same time the rest of the application is evaluated.</p>

<p>Not sure, if you don't see it in app tracking by early next week you might want to contact the office to confirm. But don't worry so much about the midyear report - even if it's missing, we'll still review your app with what's there and review the midyear report when it comes in.</p>
