More possible awards at the end of the year

I'm not really sure what I plan to study. Right now I'm leaning towards med school, but I could go towards Economics, Political Science, or Computer Science.

So, thanks for reading. Chances for Stanford, Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Duke, Rice, JHU, Cornell, G-town?

You're ECs and awards are excellent, living in MA really helps. Standford, Duke, Cornell, G-town, Rice, JHU seem like close matches. HYP may be a slight reach, but you could get into one of them if u retake SAT

Thanks, anyone else?

No chance anywhere. Too Asian. You might have a chance at Cape Cod Community College :(

Just Kidding :)
HYPS are crapshoots for anybody. Reach.
Duke-I don't know.
Rice/JHU/Cornell-I think you have a good shot there. Matchish Reach.
Gtown-great shot here. Match.

I want to suggest University of Chicago and Wesleyan(they claim to have the #1 econ dept for LACs) for econ. Assuming that you'll look into Chicago and Wesleyan:
Chicago-great shot here. Match.
Wesleyan-great shot here. Safish match.

Lol, so true, you are very asian, but your stats impress me very much and I think you have good chances.

Those are awesome stats! I think you'll get into most of the places you're applying to although the first four you're applying to are so selective that you never know.

I have a question for you now- how exactly can you send in a piano CD? Do you just have your instructor record it for you and you pick whatever songs you want to play? Do most schools like their applicants to send in extra things like this? I play piano as well and I was thinking of doing this too for next year!

Mandizz, I sent you a PM (private msg).

A very above average chance for Ivies after you weed out the people that apply just to burn some application fees.

You seem very well qualified even from the asian pool.

If he's an average asian in the ivy pool, this is gonna suck for me

You should be in at Rice, JHU, Cornell, U Chicago, probably Georgetown. You have a good chance at the others. Do you have the finances covered? If you are middle class- you may not get much aid from these places.

Why the **** would you retake the SATs?

they are really good, and retaking a 2270 is ridiculous

BTW your a good canidate, good luck man

Yeah...getting more than a 2270 isn't really going to help you..no matter what you think.

As long as you can cross the 2200 barrier...colleges will be happy.

sheldon0789: Have you looked into Chicago yet? You seem like a great candidate for Chicago....:D

Yeah, and don't retake the SAT. What a waste of money and time. :)

Haha thanks guys.

Yep I've looked into Chicago but I don't think I will even apply. "Where fun comes to die"...Not for me.
